How To Join

Who Should Join

We welcome women interested in promoting the mission of the Women's Giving Alliance. We strive to attract a membership that is diverse and inclusive.

How It Works

Each WGA member contributes a minimum of $1,500 annually. Of that amount, $1,000 goes into the funding pool for grantmaking, and $500 goes to build the endowment (70% of the $500) and to cover administrative costs (30%). Gifts to the Women's Giving Alliance are tax deductible.

For the individual member of the Women's Giving Alliance, a single annual gift of $1,500 has the impact of $250,000 or more through the power of collective giving. Nowhere else can relatively modest gifts do so much to assist organizations and the women and girls they serve. Members also have the comfort of knowing that the WGA endowment will ensure that the needs of women and girls will be addressed for years to come.
