Women & Girls Speak: The Status of Women and Girls in 21st Century Northeast Florida  Published, April 2004

  • Qualitative data to capture attitudes, perceptions of women and girls

  • Health and Well-Being
  • Violence and Crime
  • Representation and Leadership
  • Resources and Support

The research has served several important purposes:

  • Inform WGA and other donors so that their grants are targeted toward areas of greatest need and potential for impact.
  • Influence the resources, services and support provided by community-based organizations, social service agencies, corporations and others.
  • Provide information that will assist advocacy efforts designed to enhance the lives of women and girls and by doing so, improve our communities.
