Women & Girls Speak: The Status of Women and Girls in 21st Century Northeast Florida Published, April 2004
The study was funded by the Women's Giving Alliance and the following funding partners:

The study includes findings drawn from:
- Archival and quantitative data by county
- Qualitative data to capture attitudes, perceptions of women and girls
The research findings cover the following subjects:
- Demographics
- Family
- Economic Autonomy
- Health and Well-Being
- Violence and Crime
- Representation and Leadership
- Resources and Support
The research has served several important purposes:
- Inform WGA and other donors so that their grants are targeted toward areas of greatest need and potential for impact.
- Influence the resources, services and support provided by community-based organizations, social service agencies, corporations and others.
- Provide information that will assist advocacy efforts designed to enhance the lives of women and girls and by doing so, improve our communities.
